HOLIDAY, Fla. — Sun Toyota announced today it has promoted F&I Manager John Ancona to the director's role of the dealership, according to a company press release. He will be responsible for department staffing, training, and operations, as well as cultivating relationships with finance sources.

"I’m looking forward to creating a closer, more collaborative culture between the sales and finance teams here at Sun Toyota,” said Ancona. “I plan to build bridges of understanding and support between our departments for the ultimate benefit of customers, as well as our employees.”

Ancona is a five-year veteran of the finance department at Sun Toyota, according to the company. Before joining the automotive industry, he served four and a half years in the United States Air Force as a computer engineer.

Sun Toyota & Scion was acquired by Morgan Auto Group in February. The acquisition of the dealership helped the company expand its auto dealerships to 14 in central Florida and Missouri, according to the company.
